Australia FIFA World Cup, the Socceroos managed to win both games narrowly to book their ticket to Qatar – where they have been drawn into group D alongside France, Denmark and Tunisia. The Socceroos have qualified for their fifth consecutive World Cup against all the odds with a 5-4 penalty shootout win against Peru following a goalless draw in regulation time at Al Rayyan Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
We know fans want this game but so do the players and staff. Having the chance to finally play at home, play at Eden Park and take on the Aussies is really exciting. I can’t wait.

Who are the Socceroos playing at the World Cup?
The Socceroos have been drawn in Group D, where they will face France, Denmark, and Tunisia.
Notably, Australia shared with a group France and Denmark at the 2018 tournament.
In those matches, the green and gold fell valiantly to Les Bleus 2-1 and drew with Denmark 1-1.
If Australia is one of the two teams that advance from Group D, they will match up with a team from Group C in the Round of 16, which includes Argentina, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland.
